也許，每個人的心中都有自己最喜愛的動物，小到小貓、小狗，大到大象、熊貓、長頸鹿，可是，我喜歡的動物或者說是昆蟲吧，小到不仔細看根本看不到，它就是最易被人忽視的卻又數量龐大的螞蟻。
螞蟻是一種喜歡群居的昆蟲，別看它微不足道，但它卻擁有“大力士”的稱號。一只螞蟻能搬起超過自己體重50倍的物體。人如果能搬起自己體重2倍的東西都很了不起了。人要和螞蟻比力氣可真是望塵莫及。
以前，我曾聽別人說過，螞蟻們十分團結，我也親眼見過，在螞蟻洞口，眾多螞蟻共同對付一只活毛毛蟲，心想，那只不過是生存需要，共同獵食罷了，好多動物像狼、鬣狗都是這樣共同捕食，不足為奇。這么多有思維的螞蟻天天在一起，不起內訌才怪呢!
后來，看到了一篇文章，讓我對小小螞蟻肅然起敬。這篇文章寫道：一群螞蟻遇到火災，他們沒有驚慌失措，立刻變換隊形扭成一團，將蟻后、幼蟻這些可以維持種族生存的螞蟻包在中間，迅速滾過火球，向河岸方向突圍，蟻團不斷發出外層螞蟻被燒焦后爆裂的聲響，但是蟻團卻不見縮小。顯然，這外層被灼焦的“蟻國英雄”們至死也不松動分毫，肝膽俱裂也不放棄自己的崗位。一會兒，蟻團沖進了河流里，隨著向對岸的滾動，河面上升騰起一層薄薄的煙霧……但凡生物，都有求生本能，小小螞蟻卻能在生死關頭，為了種族延續，選擇犧牲自己，多么可敬啊!
和螞蟻的團結比起來，我們應該感到慚愧。有時因為一點小事，和班里的同學就鬧得面紅耳赤，真不應該。原來這個世界上，崇高與偉大真的與個頭、力量沒有關系，真正重要的是精神上的強大，如果，我們具備螞蟻這樣緊密團結，勇于奉獻的精神，還有什么事情我們不能完成呢?
