賓語從句是指在一個句子中充當賓語的句子。
例如：
He said that he wanted to be a teacher when he grew up.
他說長大后想當一名老師。
?、儋e語從句的連接詞：
賓語從句的連接詞包括that、if/whether(是否)、特殊疑問詞。
?、谫e語從句的語序：
A. 賓語從句的連接詞后加陳述語序(主語在前，謂語在后)。
例如：I want to know if he can come tomorrow.
我想知道他明天是否能來。
B. 當連接詞本身又是賓語從句的主語時，后面直接加謂語動詞。
例如：She asked me who had helped him.
她問我誰幫助了他。
③賓語從句的時態，只要記住以下口訣就可以了。
“主現則從任，主過則從過，客觀真理一般現”
A. 主現則從任：主句如果是一般現在時，則從句根據時間狀語需要從八種時態中任選一種。
例如：He tells me he studied English in England last year.
他告訴我他去年在英國學習英語。
B. 主過則從過：主句如果是一般過去時，則從句根據時間狀語需要從四種帶“過”字的時態中任選一種，帶“過”字的時態分別是如：一般過去時，過去進行時，過去將來時，過去完成時。
例如：He told me that he liked playing football.
他告訴我他喜歡踢足球。
C. 客觀真理一般現：客觀真理永遠用一般現在時。
例如：He said the moon goes around the earth.
他說月亮繞著地球轉。

1. 時間狀語從句：在一個句子中作時間狀語的句子。
時間狀語從句的連接詞：when(當…...時候)，while(當...…時候) as(當...…時候)，after(在…...以后)，before(在...…以前) as soon as(一...…就......)，since(自從...…到現在)，till/until(直到…...才......)，by the time(到...…的時候)
例如：
Mozart started writing music when he was four years old.
莫扎特四歲時開始創作音樂。
2. 條件狀語從句：：在一個句子中作條件狀語的句子。
條件狀語從句的連接詞：if， unless(除非)，as long as(只要)
例如：If it doesn’t rain tomorrow， we will go hiking.
如果明天不下雨，我們將去遠足。
注意：在時間和條件狀語從句中，一定要符合“主將從現”原則。如上面例句，條件狀語 If it doesn’t rain tomorrow用一般現在時，主句we will go hiking用一般將來時。
3. 原因狀語從句：在一個句子中作原因狀語的句子。
原因狀語從句的連接詞：because， since， as，now that
例如：I didn’t go to school yesterday because I was ill.
因為我生病了，所以昨天沒去上學。

一、關系代詞引導的定語從句
1、由who, whom, that，Whose引導的從句
這些詞代替的先行詞是人的名詞或代詞，who作主語指人，whom作賓語指人，that既可作主語又可作賓語（作賓語可以省略），可以指人也可以指物。Whose 用來指人或物，只用作定語。
(1) Is he the man who/that wants to see you? 他是那個想見你的男人嗎？（who/that在從句中作主語）
(2) He is the man whom/ that I saw yesterday. 他就是我昨天見的那個人。（whom/that在從句中作賓語）
(3) The man whom you spoke to just now is our English teacher 你剛剛說話的那個男人是我們的英語老師
(4) he man whose son is a doctor is our professor. 那個兒子是醫生的男人是我們的教授。
2、由which, that引導的從句
它們所代替的先行詞是事物的名詞或代詞，在從句中可作主語、賓語等，作賓語時可以省略，例如：
(1) Prosperity which / that had never been seen before appears in the countryside. 農村出現了前所未有的繁榮。（which / that在從句中作主語）
(2) The package (which / that) you are carrying is about to come unwrapped. 你拿那個包裹快要散開了。(which / that在從句中作賓語）
注意： 代表物時多用which，但在下列情況中用that而不用which：
a)先行詞是anything, everything, nothing , none等不定代詞時；
b)先行詞由every, any, all, some, no, little, few, much等修飾時，這時的that常被省略；
c)先行詞前有序數詞或被形容詞最高級修飾時；
d)先行詞中既有人又有物時；
e)整個句中前面已有which，who,that時；
f)當先行詞為 物并作表語時；
g)先行詞為one時；
h)先行詞同時又被the only,the very,the same修飾時；
二、關系副詞引導的定 語從句
1、when指時間在定語從句中做時間狀語也可做連接詞用 I still remember the day when I first came to the school.
2、where指地點在定語從句中做地點狀語 Shanghai is the city where I was born.
3、why指原因在定語從句中做原因狀語 ，用在reason 后面。 Please tell me the reason why you missed the plane.
常見考法
對于定語從句的考查，多以單選的形式 考查學生靈活運用的能力。一般情況下，常從關系詞的意義和功能的角度考查，重點是that,which,who引導的定語從句。
典型例題：You're the only person ______I've ever met ______could do it .
A. who B. whom C. whom D. who
解析：先行詞person后有兩個定語從句,第一個從句省略了關系代詞whom.因為, wh om作從句中met的賓語,可以省略.第二 個從句who could do it.who在從句中作主語,不可省略.

誤區提醒
當表示時間或地點的名詞作先行詞時，要判斷出它們在從句中作狀語還是主語或賓語。作狀語時用關系副詞，反之用關系代詞。
